Every breeder has that one special mare who started everything. For Sherry Conrads and Al Noor Arabians, Breathless V is that mare. She carries weight as a producer being by Jullyen El Jamaal, who was known for producing daughters who went on to become priceless broodmares themselves. Breathless' female line is equally as precious. The one and only *Batchantka – one of Sheila Varian's three imported foundation mares from Polan – sits in the great grand dam position of her tail female line. Breathless' maternal grandsire is Huckleberry Bey, who needs no introduction.

It therefore doesn't surprise us when she is the mother of the broodmare who gave us both Al Noor Miralena and Al Noor Mahira in back-to-back years. Breathless V is now retired and will live out her days on green pasture at the neighboring Antheia Arabians. She will never want for anything and we are grateful for all she gave us.
